Taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya located on the edge of Barcelona, the Spanish Grand Prix is the first European race of the season. With a good amount of fast and slow turns, the circuit truly challenges drivers and teams and offers spectators several adrenaline rushes along the laps. The track has few overtaking opportunities, of which one is the popular Elf corner. Circuit Name: Many of these areas are elevated offering good views. Some of the very best atmosphere tends to be created from the fans in these areas particularly recently as a sea of red cheers on local hero Fernando Alonso.
It provides good views of the racing cars starting to brake for the Elf corner and of the spectacular acceleration of the cars out of the pit lane. Grandstand A is uncovered. Grandstand F is uncovered. This sector is also valued as one of the most demanding in terms of technical ability. The GP was an excellent experience to have as a part of my Spain Trip. The transport to and I am not normally a Grand Prix fan, however my son and i had a great day! We got the train from Barcelona to Mont melo and walked through the vibrant streets to the circuit.
