This was not our first time though at the park. We have been visiting since my 14 year was just 3 years old. This park is great for kids of all ages. Michigan Adventure is located north of Muskegon off US This is an easy drive from the west side of the state.

When you get tired of going on the rides, walk on over to the water park to cool off and relax. The lowest priced Season Pass pays for itself by the fourth visit. The more you use your Season Pass, the bigger the discount is per use. If you are visiting from out of town or a Season Pass is something you do not want to invest in, then buying a two day pass may be the option you want.

Performing Groups get discount ticket rates to the park when they perform onstage for fifteen minutes during the summer months. Scouts must wear part of their uniform to prove they are actually an active scout.

The park has been owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company since , yet it still retains the atmosphere and ethos of a family-run business. The story starts in , when Camille Jourden-Mark was two years old. Her father, Roger Jourden, bought a acre amusement property called Deer Park. It was mainly a petting zoo at this time, with deer, llamas, monkeys, chickens and ducks. Jourden renamed the park Deer Park Funland. Jourden-Mark was actively involved with the park from a very young age. She recalls how her parents built a duck pond when she was just six. My parents felt it was a good way to know where I was in the park, to keep me safe. I generated revenue for the park as well.
